Arc Raiders: How to Get Blueprints Fast in the Best Farming Areas
Finding the right blueprints is the real endgame barrier in Arc Raiders. Whether you are hunting for specific high-tier gear like the Deadline or the Wolfpack, or you are simply trying to round out your entire collection of 74 blueprints, relying on basic daytime runs is going to feel like an endless grind. The standard drop rates across random containers can be brutal if you don't know how to tip the scales in your favor.
To pull serious hauls, you have to align your drops with specific map events, hit high-density loot paths, and target the right boxes. This guide breaks down the absolute best farming loops, ideal map conditions, and a zero-risk strategy that lets you pocket rare blueprints without ever risking your favorite gear loadouts.
Optimal Map Conditions & Events
Before you even choose a drop point, you need to look at what the map is doing. Blueprint drop rates are highly tied to server-side environmental multipliers. If you drop during standard conditions, you are actively wasting your time.
Electromagnetic Storms: This is your absolute prime-time farming window. When a storm is active, blueprint drop rates spike immensely across every single searchable container on the map. It is entirely common to walk away with multiple blueprints from a single run if you hit your routes quickly. Prioritize these windows above everything else.
Night Raids: If there is no active storm on your selection screen, always opt for a night map. The game heavily buffs blueprint drops in the dark compared to standard daytime looting. It is riskier due to low visibility, but the payout makes it mandatory for serious farmers.
Low-Loot Lobbies / Team Lobbies: Matchmaking into team-focused lobbies can drastically shift the pacing of other players. Squads tend to move slower, fight more systematically, or hyper-focus on specific objectives. This leaves massive, high-yield geographic zones completely unlooted and open for a fast solo player to clean out cleanly.
Best Farming Locations by Map
Once you are on the ground during a storm or a night raid, you need to skip the open fields and head straight for these high-concentration zones. Each map has a few specific spots where blueprints cluster heavily.
1. Dam Battlegrounds
Testing Annex (South Room): This is an absolute goldmine for solo players. The beauty of the Testing Annex is that it sits within a yellow zone rather than a highly dangerous red zone, meaning it remains relatively uncontested by heavy PvP groups. If you manage to secure a Dam Testing Annex Key, unlocking this room yields massive container density and a ridiculous blueprint success rate.
Control Tower: This is the exact opposite of the Annex—it is an incredibly sweaty, highly contested PvP hot zone. However, if you can navigate the chaos during a storm or night phase, it is entirely worth it. Focus on pushing to the roof, dropping down carefully next to the ladder, and catching the ledge. The density of high-tier spawns here makes it one of the most consistent pools for elite blueprints.
2. Stella Montis
Assembly Area: If you are hunting down premium end-game gear blueprints like the Deadline, Stella Montis at night is your best bet. The Assembly Area contains complex industrial layouts that hide top-shelf cases. Run light, check the corners, and clear this out when the lobby is distracted.
Hospital & Lobby: This zone is exceptionally dense with high-value points of interest. It is a premier location not just for weapon schematics, but also for hunting rare combat augments and top-tier survival gear. Keep your ears open, as the interior audio can give away flankers early.
3. Spaceport & Buried City
Spaceport (Departure Building): Head deep into the back of the Departure Building and keep an eye out for the breachable room tucked away from the main hallways. Inside, you will find a hidden weapon crate alongside a dense row of lockers. Because of how the loot tables roll here, it is a frequent spot for dropping multiple duplicate or rare blueprints in a single sweep.
Buried City (Plaza Rosa): Focus your attention heavily on the mid-to-high tier loot zones locked behind breachable doors. These areas act as major filters for the loot pool, heavily favoring rare drops like the highly sought-after Wolfpack blueprint.
Containers to Target
While blueprints can theoretically roll from absolutely any searchable object in the game—yes, including random trash cans, jackets, and basic suitcases—you will waste precious time checking every piece of garbage. When you are on a fast clock, you need to focus exclusively on these high-percentage containers:
Weapon Cases & Grenade Cylinders: These feature the flat-out highest percentage drop rates for blueprints in the game. If you see one, it takes absolute priority.
Breachable Rooms: Any room that requires a mechanical breach to enter acts as a natural quality multiplier for the loot inside. Even the basic drawers, desks, and shelves inside a breached room have significantly higher odds of carrying blueprints than their identical counterparts out in the open hallways.
Red & Black Lockers: Veteran players often refer to these specifically as "blueprint boxes." Their internal loot tables are uniquely altered, capable of rolling practically any high-tier item or top-end augment in the database.
Ark Surveyors: Keep your eyes on the skies. While chasing down an Ark Surveyor bot top-side can be incredibly tedious and exposes your position, destroying them yields an incredibly high blueprint drop rate upon wreckage salvage. Treat them like moving treasure chests.
The Zero-Risk "Safe Pocket" Strategy
If you want to complete your collection quickly without dealing with the heartbreaking loss of your hard-earned extraction gear, the community has perfected a highly efficient, zero-risk farming loop. It strips away the stress of extraction campers and lets you cycle maps at lightning speed.
Go in Naked: Clear out your inventory completely. Deploy into an active Electromagnetic Storm or Night Raid map with absolutely no gear equipped except for your container-protected Safe Pocket. You have nothing to lose, which means you can run with absolute aggression.
Loot and Pocket: Sprint at full speed straight to the high-density container zones outlined above (like the Spaceport lockers or the Dam Testing Annex). Ignore regular enemies and low-tier loot. The exact millisecond you find a blueprint, slide it directly into your Safe Pocket. Once it is in there, it is permanently yours, no matter what happens next.
Fast Reset: If you happen to spawn too far away from a premium loot zone, get an unfavorable map rotation, or find your target room already cleared, do not waste time running across the map. Open up the in-game UI and instantly choose to Surrender. Because you went in naked, you lose absolutely nothing. You completely bypass the stress of extraction campers, cut out the travel time, and can queue right back up for a fresh map rotation in under a minute.
Using this aggressive Safe Pocket loop during storms will drastically cut down your grind time, letting you stockpile the blueprints needed to craft the game's most devastating weapons and gear without the constant fear of losing your kit.
